From this great album(more than I could ever have hoped for at this late stage but truthfully not much of a surprise-these guys are good eh?? LOL) is Erics scream Burn towards the end of Edge Of The World.Reminds me a bit of Arthur Browns Fire but just a really neat moment at just the right time.

That is a TOUGH one to answer. I'll call it a tie. I do love the background vocals repeating "endlessly niiiiiiiiight" and that little lick in Nightmare Epiphany before the bridge.
And, not so much a moment, but whatever that swirling synth sound is in the beginning of both Box In My Head and Secret Road has become an obsession for me as far as finding an equivalent. I'm going through so many Native Instruments presets trying to find the exact sound LOL

I’ll go with the guitar work on Edge and The Machine. Would have been the solo on Box.

I’ll go with the guitar work on Edge and The Machine. Would have been the solo on Box. I find rock songs without guitar solos refreshing sometimes. I don't think they are always called for. Heck, there are even a few Dream Theater songs without any solos in them, and showing off is kind of their thing lol (I love them, but I mean, they are pretty show-offy)

The whole of Train True.
Not sure if it’s my fave thing on Symbol, but the fact that if I’m in the car and only have enough time for one tune, and that’s the one I go to, makes me believe that it is.

Also love the nod to “Brandy” by Looking Glass in Box, “You’re a fine girl…”. BD, who thought of that?

Also love the nod to “Brandy” by Looking Glass in Box, “You’re a fine girl…”. BD, who thought of that? When I was arranging the response vocals on the chorus of "Box," that idea flew into my head, and after demo'ing it, I decided to keep it in. I like stuff like that.
