I’ve had Off The Rails since 2016. Rudy writes with a Kindness. You can feel it.

Rudy is one of the nicest people I've ever met in the music business.

It was a nice surprise when BÖC was playing near Spokane, with Rail and Great White opening, and Sarzo was on bass.

Adam and I said hello to Rudy before a BB Kings show and as Ed Grimley would say "He seemed like a very decent guy I must say".

Although maybe the list is shorter of bands that haven't opened for BOC. I remember in the early 80's seeing Rail frequently play at the local skating rink before their MTV "basement tapes" thing. They always put-on a good show that sort-of belied their level of success at the time, and their first couple records were actually really fun listens for high-school me that was into whatever local hard rock would present itself.

This would have been after Danny left for the Queen tribute band in Vegas, and before Ritchie joining.

I filmed Rudy's first show with BOC. A Biker gig at Lake Somerville, TX. Some girl flashed me on camera after the show, 28 April 2007. I remember there was a delicious Roast Pig backstage...

About 15 yrs ago BÖC played a casino in Bow, WA & I got there kinda early & just walked in to the actual venue, inside the casino.... lights were still on & the band was doing a soundcheck.Anyways, I probably wasn't supposed to be there, but the little old lady at the door just smiled at me & let me in, so.......I walked up pretty close, found a decent seat ( there were maybe 20-30 people in there; perhaps staff and/or band personel....? ) Rudy looked over & saw me, gave me a big grin, nodded his head & gave me a thumbs up.....I was like " Wow, Sarzo!! And he acknowledged me & was cool to me! " ...... hehe .....so that was kinda cool. A few tunes later, they booted everyone outta there, but for a brief moment, I got a taste of how cool Sarzo is ( he didn't know me from Adam, probably knew I crashed the party, but his attitude was great ) & I'll always remember that.

To be clear about the record, Danny left BOC to join the official Queen musical production opening for an extended run in Las Vegas. From that show, Brian May personally drafted Danny for the Queen world tour with Paul Rogers singing. After that Danny joined Meat Loaf for several years before rejoining BOC.

Love that bass break he adds to Radio Ga Ga Being (amongst other things ) a bass player I consider Danny to be one of the worlds top notch rock bassists. Clearly BOC & Brian May have the same opinion.
Joe wasn't bad either .
