Though I'll say some of the points made in it seems at odds with other sources. I looked back in this forum for a post on this. Didn't see any so my apologies if this is old news. pleasekillme.com/producer-murray-krugman/

This is a good interview & worth reading again. You are correct that MK is at odds with pretty much all other BOC sources. MK appears to have a great deal of bitterness re BOC & has made numerous disparaging claims/comments in the past particularly about Allen Lanier & Sandy Pearlman which is a shame as they are no longer here to defend themselves.

We talked about an interview he had previously done where he came across as an embittered malcontent with delusions of grandeur as far as his influence on BOC goes. I'm not sure if this is a new interview or a new source based on the same interview, but either way he appears to be the type of fellow I'd strive to avoid. That's the kindest thing I can say.

The Snivelling Bean-Counters would have been a fine band name as well.

Krugman should've started his own band Putzes From Hell.

I'm not gonna slag Murray Krugman here or anywhere. To whatever degree the personalities of that initial Columbia Records BOC recording recipe didn't endure over time, Murray was a genuine ingredient to begin with, and up to the time of his departure.
Maybe if Murray had landed the Columbia staff producer gig he'd wanted, the arc of his life would have been different. Sandy Pearlman had much less success with his other artists than he had with BOC, even as he gets credit for the creation of BOC, which is accurate. I never would have been Buck Dharma without Sandy Pearlman's influence, and I say so when asked.
It's been said in life we're all watching the same screen, but we're seeing a bunch of different movies at the same time. I think that's what's going on here.
