This album has really stood the test of time and is a true gem. Beautifully understated, all killer and no filler, as they say. I've had Flat Out in one form or another since it was released, including the Wounded Bird CD reissue.
Buck, any plans to commemorate the anniversary? Maybe a song or two added to BOCs live setlist this summer? Or maybe a deluxe edition with Lost Lenore or 2120 Revisited? Endless possibilities...

Yeah it still sounds great, I never understood why it wasn't more successful commercially. BOC played Born to Rock at a some gigs in the mid/late eighties, sometimes if I remember rightly opening with it, the song sounded fantastic live & always went down a storm with the crowd. So who knows maybe it could make a return.

I love this album.Funny thing is they only did BTR live and I like it-especially that Steve Miller part in the middle but it was probably the song I least wanted to hear live.THey did do All Tied Up at My Fathers Place but for the tour only BTR.
