The Hulu series of WhT we do in the Shadows is the dogs bollocks. And, um, is that good? Depends on the dog.

I just added Let Me In to my Netflix queue. The title was familiar, thought I'd seen it, but history list says I haven't. In the soundtrack list for it, one track caught my attention: Burnin' For You Written by Donald Roeser & Richard Meltzer Performed by Blue Öyster Cult (as Blue Oyster Cult) Cool. It is used to VERY good effect in the scene it’s in btw Well we watched "Let Me In" last night. It had a good creepiness factor, but the Blu-ray that N$t@!:x sent me was in such bad shape that about every 20 minutes a defect/scratch would cause about 5 minutes of re-tries. So that kind of killed the creep. We finally found that they had it STREAMING also, which showed the opposite when I ordered the disk. So we finished the last 45 minutes or so that way. With that said, the movie was good. Had the necessary blood and guts, but no stupid-looking vampires jumping out of closets. So not a kids action movie, but a good story with a romantic aspect, even if the boy was only 12. The ancient Rubik's cube that the girl (vampire) had was a nice detail thrown in. The ending was cool, but if you weren't paying close attention or had the volume too low you would miss the whole ending. It was the type of move that could inspire a song for somebody that is talented in that way. The Burnin' scene was well done and well timed. I had seen a clip of that before, but didn't know what movie it came from. Now I know who the person in the back seat was. And yes, proper credit was given in the end credits. We watched the Burnin' scene on the disc with subtitles turned on. So the lyrics were being shown. I guess all that time I spent back and forth in another thread goofing around with Buck about Perfect Water lyrics paid off and sensitized me to details. On the screen, like I was hit with a brick: "I've seen suns that were freezing and lies that were true".Ah, no. "..lives that were through" was the reality of the situation.
