Came across this while being lost in the Tube last night. The content for this TopCulture user is pretty fun. Listened to a bunch of them for about 2 hours. A must list of vids under this user group for music lovers.
Its Billboard based so it is what it is. They have many decades …..seperate vids for most popular, number #1’s, even number 2’s which are better on some decades, etc.
It sure shows how music really was better 50 years ago. Make a cocktail or whatever your preference and enjoy them.

We watched the 60’s to 2000’s. The 2000’s was mostly painful with a few gems Id forgotten about mixed in.

My wife showed me these, or an equivalent, awhile back mostly to show the D&S "now it's 1964" transition.
I'm not sure we made it through the 90's, although through most of the years the #2's to #10's might be best - to me anyway. I stumble on a lot of Tube videos too. Seems like the ones I usually stop on are in the 70's. Makes sense since I consider the 70's (to mid-80's) to be my best, most interesting years in general.

Speaking of the 70's, I remember the "break-in" records that used song snippets in the format of a newscast or interview. Here's one I remember hearing on the radio dealing with the energy crisis.
