I stumbled on this list last week. We all know about Halloween, The Stand, Stoned Age, etc., but what about Hawaii Five-0, 12 Monkeys, Nip/Tuck, Cop Land, etc.? The list is at: www.imdb.com/name/nm1584302/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t2Scroll down to "Soundtrack (87 credits)" and expand the list. As you've probably guessed, most are DFTR - but there are others. NO, I didn't even attempt to check out each reference or find out how much of each song was used, but this site is usually reliable.

I'd forgotten about "Nip/Tuck." Also that BOC was in "Cop Land." Good movie! Great cast. DFTR Ray Liotta. I'd thought the movie was set in Nyack or Tarrytown, not NJ.

Cop Land was an excellent movie. The "town" in the movie was named Garrison, New Jersey - which in reality doesn't seem to exist. Garrison, New Jersey was based on the writer/director James Mangold's hometown of Washingtonville, New York, located about 60 miles from New York City. Mangold grew up in a development called Worley Heights, where many of the residents were current and former NYPD police officers. (taken from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cop_Land ) There is a Garrison, New York. I'm not sure how it fits in. Apparently at least some part of the movie was filmed there. FYI: Apparently Don McLean lived in Garrison, NY for some period of time. The primary filming locations seem to be Edgewater, Cliffside Park, and Fort Lee in New Jersey. If the movie was based on ACTUAL incidents in the NY/NJ area I couldn't find anything. I'm not familiar enough with the area to know what towns/areas are near or a part of another.

Then yep, 88 at least. No telling how many more are floating around out there un-credited.
