So far my favorite song of 2015 has been your solo song Fight and its quite a shame we haven't seen it anywhere but your soundcloud account. Do you think you'll be pushing the song anywhere else or play it at any concerts (I've only been to one of your concerts since the songs release so my mistake if you have been)

Buck, have you heard of Bandcamp? It's a website where you can post your songs and merch for fans like us to buy. I would gladly support you on the site for any releases.

I've just checked and that Soundcloud version has clocked up: 8040 plays! Now if that had been up on iTunes for 0.90c or whatever the going rate currently is, then that'd be around erm... OK, well, put it this way, it'd be worth doing... So, that said, when's the album coming out?

Ralph, the reality is that nobody buys music anymore - except for the country crowd - unless you're a serious A-lister. OTOH, recording the music and distributing it world-wide costs practically nothing; so, it's whatever the artist feels motivated/driven to do.

Nobody buys music? Sure they do. They may not buy the physical product as they once did (I do, as I love the package - disc, art, booklet), and I know streaming is becoming more the norm, but I don't agree that no one is going to pony up 99 cents for an iTunes download.

Yeah, I'm old school too. Love the extras, booklets, lyrics, credits and artwork etc. They're like toys for us older folks. But.... If it's only available as a download, I download. My 128GB iPhone was purchased so it would serve as an iPod and phone. Always have my important music with me. "Fight" I would put on the "Flat Out" playlist or even one of the Archive lists. Wish I had the download...wink wink nudge nudge.

There are multiple programs/apps out there that allow you to capture SoundCloud audio and then convert it to mp3, even when the download limit on a non-paying account has been met. Lots of information/statistics here, you can see the trends for yourself; streaming is a runaway steamroller and it does not bode well for songwriters. Remember, what we as middle-aged fans like and appreciate does not necessarily translate to the new generation(s). 178 Million Streams - Songwriter made less than $6K

Streaming = $0.0009 per play.
Yes...those numbers are correct. At least on my Spotify ledger.
But...being the forever optimist, I'm just happy our songs are being played.
