Deadline from B.O.C's album cultosaurus erectus is one of my top favorite songs in their discography and is one of their underrated songs in general, I've been searching everywhere for tabs and chords so I can play the song myself. I found the Buck Dharma forums and I decided to put this out there in hopes that I can at least get something close to it. Any help is much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Bunch of great folks on here...many musicians here too. I'm sure if anyone has tabs etc or knows where to find, they'll share. Be patient though...some folks don't check in that often...

Not being a guitar player at all, I'm not sure what you're looking for would exactly look like. But I just did a web search composed of: +Deadline guitar tabs "blue oyster cult" A lot of these things seem to be purchase only, but there are some free ones of "some kind". Below are a couple of ones that came up using the above search. tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/2602491www.e-chords.com/chords/blue-%C3%B6yster-cult/deadlineFound a lot of supposedly free ones for BOC songs in general, but Deadline didn't show up very often. Good luck!

There is a live video of Deadline on Buck's YouTube channel, don't know if that's helpful or not. In general, most BÖC songs don't have tabs, and if they do they aren't accurate, so I've had to dig through like 3-5 different live versions of various songs to figure what's what! One of the chords in the chorus is Bm7 on the second fret.

Assuming you're not playing in a 20,000 seat venue, you don't need 500 pieces of equipment, an orchestra, a 5 kW sound system, and 50 performers to put on a good show that sounds really great. This one, and the others from The Buck Dharma Band, proves you can do it with the right 3 people AND the right material.
(Actually 4 people counting Sandy..............)
