I find myself really enjoying these couple of tunes where Buck was sitting in and jamming with the boys from Royal Southern Railroad. He sounded damn good...and seemed right at home. I love when great musicians from different genres come together and have a great time while giving the fans a great performance!
Enjoy!

Very cool! I also enjoy seeing the crossover in different genres. I really can’t think of a genre that Buck would be uncomfortable in. Thanks for posting!

Lol!!!! You are likely correct about Rap, but I bet he would have no problem keeping up!

The devil is in the details (just harassing you). The keywords you used were "uncomfortable in". I know he could keep up with ANY of the guitar-work. And could likely match the speed of the lyrics.
But some of the rap lyrics I've heard, well, I'm not sure he would be "comfortable" repeating on-stage.

Not sure it would be considered a 'crossover' but Buck's playing on Band Geeks version of Ride Like the Wind is imo some of his finest. So smooth and his tone is unlike any BOC stuff. It being live and somewhat impromptu is the icing on the cake for me.

Certainly I 100% agree with that Joe.

That was a fun jam with the Royal Southern Brotherhood. Met them on the first Rock Legends Cruise we did. Became friends with Devon Allman, Mike Zito, and sax player Ron Holloway, who was sitting in like me, at The Hamilton in Washington DC.

Met Ron Holloway when he was touring with Warren Haynes (still does I believe). Super cool guy.

Another great Buck "sit in video". This time was at NAMM 2019 with the Alex Skolnik Trio. Buck comes in around 4 mins into the video. Another great jam of two great guitarists! You can tell they were having a great time up there!
