I think I have the name right, the rack space that has lots of sockets often in 2 horizontal rows and when in use has short cables arranged in the way the person who knows how to use it intended. It would make sense, maybe, for it to have parallel connectivity from 2 to however many horizontally, or maybe only the plug immediately above each one along the width.
It makes me lost when I'm trying to use the Jack Audio Connection Kit, because the input and output of the devices seem mixed up. The problem struck again, since I'd sort of like to not wander around further with my Deltalab multi effect pedal and started trying to read the manual, i get stuck at:
NOTE: The unit has up to 96 patches:
48 default settings (0–1 and 7–6), and
48 user patches (A–1 and H–6).
I don't know how to get 48 of effect out of (0-1 and 7-6), if I subtract from the right and from the left it leaves one, {I have a problem about not wanting to play material I don't like, sticking it out with people who sound bad, (until joining,) and being too costumey} The next line is even worse, you go from A to 1 and before thinking it's some off the reservation base 16 that is ruled out because H isn't in it. So maybe the 26 letters of the alphabet have 1 sound mod, except for H which has 6, but that's 32, not 48. I guess a patch bay wouldn't cost more than an effect pedal, so I could get beyond the abstraction. But maybe it's meant to be and it will extend the hours I practice with lengthy experimentation, but also someone may know what the instructions say.

So no two questions, I was fully aware the manual for the pedal had pages of subsequent effects named properly, of course I know how to copy out of a book.
Uoy have the sound server on one side, the graphic for the patches in the mid, then some hardware or its idea of hardware, and it won't do anything when clicked if not in context. I'm thinking I shouldn't think of the server, or the sound card, having any outputs: its connection to the server is an input on its end and it's as if the server has a 1/4" plug.
short patch cable, and think of the jacks as holes you want to connect I guesss. In my specificity I want to draw on a tiny, specific area of your expertise, and I like the blue eyed horseshoe.
