Happy to demonstrate the superiority of vinyl over CD using both my high quality turntable & high quality CD transport/DAC. It took CD until the mid 90's to sound about half as good.  |

It absolutely doesn’t make a bit of difference to me, and many lack a good system and, more importantly, a suitable listening space. I’m listening in the car with road noise, or the kids talking. I’m listening at home with typical background noises or in the kitchen preparing food. Though my stylus may be newer, the amp and turntable I have are pushing 35 years old now. The speakers are at least 15. You can prove whatever format superiority, but not many of us live in the world of spherical chickens and frictionless closed systems. I’ll take the convenience of digital, whether CD or flac or whatever that’s reasonably decent. |

I just want to get the BÖC vinyl because, a) it’s BÖC and b) there is a purple set. I soooooooooooo want them, they are so beautiful!

Hopefully we can all agree on one thing at least: The cover art and general presentation for vinyl is far superior to that of a CD case.
The might be exceptions, but probably pretty rare.

I can get behind that Joe....my main reason for buying vinyl all these years...and solely for BOC too! Nobody else is worth it to me. |

I don't listen to CD's anymore. In the car, it's satellite radio or flash drives. At home, it's the turntable. I prefer the vinyl sound but maybe it's because I'm old school. Plus, I have so many records not available in a digital format.
