Talent and untreated mental illness can be a volatile mix. It is a sad story about Jim Gordon. Something similar to producer Joe Meek’s end. These veterans of the psychic wars didn’t fare well.

Not mental illness per-se, but drug addition not treated in a hospital, resulting in his death.

I'm not a drummer so I can't judge talent compared to other top notch drummers, but when I see him play in various YouTube videos and I'm amazed at what he can do.

My world. Drug addiction (not me), but working with. It takes an average of seven times of intense detox for results to be significant enough to make a difference. Sadly, most never make it.
