That was one of the first ones that grabbed me on TSR. I just love the sound and overall atmosphere. I didn't know at the time it was originally from around 2013 and on the BD Archives.

Similarities in sound to a Buck tune (like the TSR version of Secret Road), or just my ears?
A little off topic, but I ran across this article:
It says " ‘Lady of Mars’, a track that should have been recorded by Blue Oyster Cult in 1974 follows, complete with solos pulled from the guitar of Buck Dharma blasts out next,...."
So I went and found it - released April 5, 2024 (2 days ago).

BD Archives was released in 2000 if I remember correctly, so Secret Road is much older than 2013....agree it's a great tune...one of my faves from TSR for sure!

You're right about 2013 being wrong. I saw that in the YT description. It was the date the guy uploaded it to YT. Sorry about that......

Whatever the year it's a fabulous song. One of the many standouts on TSR.

I love both versions, but especially the little run after “surrender their will” on the archive version, well, really the guitar throughout.

..and by the way, half of TSR hasn't been performed live. Fight, Edge of the World and Florida Man would have been nice treats. blame it on COVID.

Gotta put this back in the set live. Yes. I’m thinking one of the times or almost the only time I’ve heard it in the past 9-1/2 short years I’ve been following was at The Flying Monkey in Plymouth NH 2019-08-24 Here’s my what I called The debut of ‘Secret Road’ I believe guys said it’s a cut from their new album coming out Back into the set list would be awesome. They played Stand and Fight at St. George Theater 2019-10-31 ( I’ve that video) but never have heard Florida Man live
