Just found out the news this evening. I'm a bit sad, but not upset. I got lucky along with my dad by seeing Motorhead in Detroit on September 12th. We decided to take a road trip there since we didn't want to go to Riotfest and found out that the venue in Detroit was really nice. It was a great experience, and I will miss Lemmy. Somebody did upload the entire show on YouTube, but it was taken down, so I'm just gonna put down a few videos I found.

I think that was the Nuremburg concert I looked out our backstage trailer and saw Steve Walsh of Kansas doing situps with a 25 lb. barbell plate on his chest before Kansas' appearance. Steve was quite the acrobat onstage those days, doing handstands on the Hammond organ while he played and sang.
Quite a concert bill there, wasn't it?

Looking at that Monsters of Rock Festival schedule always depresses me when I think of what happened between Nurnberg and Darmstadt...

I was at the Stuttgart show. Great gig. I was an impoverished student at the time and had to choose between beer or the tshirt. It was a very hit day so the beer won.

...and time marches on; hard to believe that Richie and Jules have been in BOC (that is, the band named BOC) longer than Albert.
