Hey Buck, just got my tickets for the North Truro, Mass. concert in August. Looks like a really cool venue. Not far from the ocean and the Cape Cod Lighthouse. Has to be one of the more unusual locations for a hard rock show. I remember BÖC played at the old Cape Cod Coliseum with Cheap Trick back in 1978 but the Coliseum in South Yarmouth was used to heavy concerts. What's great for me is we already had vacation reservations that week about a mile or 2 from the venue. Very lucky! www.payomet.org/event/blue-oyster-cult

I was at that show as well ! Being young and dumb....I basiclly ignored Cheap Trick begging for BOC rather than enjoying the great warm up act. ;-)

I thought it was a great double bill. "Heaven Tonight" had only been out a couple months and I was digging it. Perfect warmup act. More poppy than the intense heavy metal sound of BÖC. I left feeling I REALLY got my moneys worth. You know the $8-$8.50 it probably cost for tickets! I was lucky enough to see only a few warmup acts that made me very impatient for BÖC to hit the stage. When you get a warmup act you're not into it can be a VERY LONG 45 minutes!

Back in 77 at home Black Oak Arkansas opened, introduced Cheap Tricks and BOC headlined with the Spectres album.
That was an awesome concert and they all jammed.
