Never Knew This!
>>>>Godzilla’s Roar BY NORMAN CHAN When you’re talking about iconic movie noises, the roar of Japan’s greatest export will indubitably come up. The first Godzilla movie, released in 1954, told the tale of a massive mutated lizard wreaking havoc on Tokyo. Director Ishiro Honda knew they needed a memorable sound to associate with the character, but the sound effects team couldn’t come up with anything. Composer Akira Ifukube proposed using musical instruments, and after numerous experiments they did something truly bizarre. The team dunked leather glove in sticky pine tar and rubbed it on the thick string of a double bass, creating a fierce, resonant sound that is immediately identifiable as Godzilla.

Cool about the Godzilla noise. It's unique.
That LP looks like a put-up. The song titles are too corny for reality.
