I think I like Tainted Blood the best out of the three so far. It’s got the heaviness and the catchiness of either of the other two. Why isn’t Ritchie a superstar on his own yet? I think "The Symbol Remains" is gonna give Richie's profile and career a boost.

in the meanwhile Frontiers uploaded The Machine on YouTube for just a day then they removed the audio-only video. Likely somebody in the Promotional Dept. made a mistake.
and -unfortunately but predictably- the album is already available on some illegal downloads' sites (in Europe at least)

Especially if he puts that Pizza Bagel Boogie (or whatever the correct name is) on it. His choices are more melodic than a lot of players so I think that interplays well with your style. The thing that originally sold me on Richie was Shooting Shark. His playing fit the song's overall sound and that's what matters to me.

I pre-ordered from Amazon and I just got a notice telling me it's not coming until sometime in November.Hope that's just a mistake. Yeah looks like France got advance copies.I heard The Alchemist and Stand And Fight which seems livelier than the live performance(hmmm does that sound weird).

I just checked mine and it says Oct 13 for me. Maybe it's a good sign that sales have exceeded expectations I hope.

We played "Stand And Fight" better when we recorded it than the one time we did it live. It hadn't yet been recorded at that time, we were still working on the arrangement.

Ahh that was my next choice LOL.I thought Playgirls came out on commercial dvd.The three films were all from a similar time period.None came close to three Hammer films starting with Horror Of Dracula in '58. It would have been great to use the Hammer films. Watching those Hammer films just hitting puberty in the 1960's had a lifetime effect on my psyche, as evidenced by the vampire song I wrote. But oh, the rights issues and licensing headaches. Also, the Hammer films were in color. When I would listen to Nosferatu the last part from piano to your lead I pictured the final chase scene in Horror Of Dracula when Peter Cushing pulls the curtains down to hit Chris Lee with the sunlight as he melts to your outro solo.

BTW Horror Of Dracula and Curse Of Frankenstein were repackaged in '65 for US theaters. That's when I saw them.

Yeah, I like that. Sounds almost Spectres-era to me. Buck, did Richie do both solos? I think the first is BD, Richie second. I had the same Spectres vibe a bit. I love vampire songs! That's what I thought too Rob...Buck first then Richie. What a great combination, Richie really compliments Buck's playing in my opinion. Great combo!
