Hey, it's nice to be on that list. Agree with just about all of it. They could make room for Mike Campbell.

Fine list. Good to see a few on there that get frequently neglected in those BS Rolling Stone lists. Glad to see Buck & Frank on the same list. And I'm glad to see Lifeson get such high praise, since usually people are more than happy to speak highly of Peart and Lee but tend to stop there. I saw them twice, and each time Lifeson was on FIRE. He's also a goofball; at the last show I went to he was basically having a goofy "guitar face" contest with Lee the whole night.

goofy "guitar face" contest I think John Mayer has that pretty much locked up.

Agreed. I miss TP. His whole band was stellar. Plus he co-wrote “The Boys of Summer” and “Heart of the Matter”

Alex appeared on the Trailer Park Boys too.

Love hearing Mike Campbell mentioned. Unsung hero.
Crazy how many people you could mention his name to that couldnt place him. Absurd given his talent and credentials.

My favorite Mike Campbell moments are on Running Down a Dream. He and Lindsey Buckingham are some of my favorite sort of "big picture" guitarists of that style of rock. They're brilliant at layering and writing for and to the song, and not just doing generic improvisatory stuff. Nothing wrong with generic improvisation mind you, but I love musicians who know what the song needs, and where the soloing fits like a glove, so much so that you couldn't imagine another solo in its place. Buck, Frank Zappa, Mike Campbell, Lindsey Buckingham, Elliot Easton, etc, all write stuff like that.

Many of the names I would not consider being "under-rated". Really, Frank Zappa, Robert Fripp, Alex Lifeson, Brian Setzer, etc.... These are major artists, all of whom I have seen in big rooms. I gave up these type of lists years ago.
