guitarist John Peter Wilkinson AKA Wilko Johnson (07.12.1947 – 11.21.2022) of Brit pub-rock band Dr. Feelgood fame and solo artist Damn!! Only just spotted this... bummer! :-) He got diagnosed - like maybe 10 years ago - with terminal pancreatic cancer and he just seemed to keep on going like some Lurch-resembling Energizer bunny... #youRang - RIP Wilko... Weirdly, BOC have actually played with Dr Feelgood (Passaic 76)...

Great song and performance. Irene Cara lived in New Port Richey FL when I was there in the first decade of this century. Never saw her or met her. Sorry she died. DFTR.

I was surprised to hear she was living in NPR. But then again, it seems like a lot of celebs especially from the music industry live or have lived in the Tampa Bay area pretty much under the radar.

We have several that live here in southwest Florida too. Apparently they like living here because nobody bothers them. Some of them can be found in the property records, if you know where to look.

When I was in NPR Florida, a hair cutter I had said she cut Gary Puckett's hair. Also, Kenny Rogers had a house in Tarpon Springs around the turn of the century. Robin Zander lives in Pinellas County.

I've had the opportunity to chat with Robin Zander a few times in a local establishment as well as Robbie Stienhardt when he was still with us. Just regular guys out having a cocktail or two.

Bummer. DFTR. As a kid growing up in Santa Barbara(1976 or 77) I remember walking by this house with a huge hedge out front and hear what I to the day I die will believe was Fleetwood Mac practicing. They played concerts both those years at UCSB stadium.
