After a long day at work, I came to study for my certification and then watched The Flight Attendant on HBO with my wife and she cooked steaks on the air fryer that I bought her for Christmas. I recommend both the Flight Attendant and steaks on the air fryer.

I had to take a COVID test for work since somebody else in the office tested positive, and then I went and had a cheap dinner at IHOP with my wife. We watched a sci-fi horror movie, I posted lots of memes on Facebook, and then I went to sleep.
Very uneventful and not in the least bit anxiety inducing.

For the record, I'm not going out and about possibly having COVID, my results were negative and I never was actually in the office (and therefore haven't been near said coworker or any other for several weeks) since the holiday. It's just policy.

Good film-I like Ryan Reynolds.Buried was really good.Rewatched Defiance which is a great film.Didn't realize Gosling was in it.Cuz I had no idea who he was back then.

Worked 12hrs Wednesday starting at 5am. Sometime mid afternoon when I was on the test floor someone mentioned what was going on and I sensed that he thought it was a righteous event and I just played along (you know that song "that's why I say hay man, nice shot") but I was ripped apart inside. I stayed away from the internet the rest of the day and when I got home the wife was freakin' out. Caught up on the news, suppa, and Bisel Brother's "Substance" and retreated to the basement to work on a turntable that has too much dang WOW! Later on retreated to the music room over the garage to listen to some radio and peruse the net than finally listened to TSR front to back at a very good volume. Good enough that my 21 yr old son had to come up and tell me to turn it down!

I recommend both the Flight Attendant and steaks on the air fryer. I started feeling a little under the weather Sunday morning and within 6 hours I felt like dying. My wife was pretty insistent about me going to patient first so around 7:30 pm we went. My temperature was over 103 and I was concerned about Covid because I just seen my parents who are in their mid-70s earlier in the day. Long story short, Covid test was negative and the PA said I probably just had the flu. I got my flu shot in October but the PA and told me you’re not guaranteed not to get the flu only that it would reduce the symptoms and the duration. Thank God for that because for the next 48 hours when I was awake I felt worse than I can remember feeling as an adult. also, The Flight Attendant was awesome! |

being it the last day of the Winter Holidays, first I uploaded an acoustic pandemic live recorded 12.31 with my guitarist on YouTube -after checking post-production-, then I spent the day resting, reading, practising in my old school of Japanese fencing, Katori Shinto-Ryu, listening to Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto, and taking a walk by the sea. also baked a cake in the evening.
due to Covid restrictions, we could not celebrate with the usual traditional epiphanic fires, in which we Barbarians in the North-East of Italy use to burn a puppet witch symbolizing the Old Year to celebrate the coming of the New Year, so I just burned the top of my Christmas Tree outside the house, then stayed home and had a sober dinner, later on I watched some comedy movies at night.
