I will say a lot of the early album lyrics had me going to the dictionary, but I was also 14 when I started listening, not full blown adults with quick access to dictionary . com lol I had no idea what a scarab was until I looked it up. I still don't know what I plot your rubric scarab means but it sounds cool lol

There's that Twilight Zone episode called I think Queen Of The Nile where she uses an ancient scarab beetle to drain the life out of her victims.I always thought of Rubric's(?) Cube when I heard Rubric's Scarab as someone sucking the math out of their victim."Look you'll live but you'll never be able to add 4 plus 4 again"

It wasn't part of my vocabulary as a 7-year-old.
