Something about the lead vocal reminds me of “Significance” from Simon Apple, that Buck played on, years ago…

I like the Simon Apple vocals better, Martman.
You can hear both tunes on my Buck Dharma Guest Stars playlist on Spotify. :-)

“Several Dudes” is the current recording project of originally, a bar band of the same name, who existed as college students at Emory College decades ago.
I got involved through my connection with Law Rocks, which is a charitable org of law professionals nationwide who are also musicians. My connection to that is through my son Zeke, a lawyer in DC, who was first invited to judge a Law Rocks charity battle of the bands in DC several years ago.
I’d become friendly with the bassist for “Several Dudes,” and agreed to record lead guitar on “Back In The Day” for his college band’s reunion project. All these guys in the “Law Rocks” thing have pretty high profile day jobs, but they can’t stop playing music, and I support that. Dudes bassist Devon Engle’s local band in Phoenix is also active in charity work and has backed Alice Cooper onstage there in his charity efforts.
It was out of this initial connection in 2019 that gave Zeke and I the idea to finish and record Zeke’s “Train True” for TSR, a song which he’d had in his head since his undergrad college days. A great father/son project, and I was the facilitator ‘way more than the creator of that song.

Cool project(s).
Any more of Zeke's tunes waiting in the wings?
