The damn curfew!! Haha Buck looking at his watch during the Reaper outro solo was classic.I once saw Jay Black at MSG say "Dick Fox(promoter) is calling to speed it up to prevent overtime charges.Fuck Dick Fox".And Jay didn't even close the show The Skyliners did. Madison Square Garden is a union house, probably the most structured in the country, and just one minute over curfew results in massive overtime charges for the promoter of events. Thanks for the explanation Buck. Good to know why this is important to be off the stage.. I get it now when we say geezzz, why don’t they play one more song.

Plus they had to redo Cagey Cretins and Astronomy for filming purposes. ...."filming purposes"... So the shows WERE being video recorded?? A single person/camera hired by the band or Sony Hall's A/V recording equipment?

One guy in front of the stage and I saw one other on the right side about mid-hall.Whether there were any more cameras I didn't notice.

Thanks for the explanation Buck. Good to know why this is important to be off the stage.. I get it now when we say geezzz, why don’t they play one more song. The two shows I went to had time requirements, however probably no large penalties for going "slightly" over. 1. The Oysterbake show in San Antonio had a 9:30 PM end requirement. They had a fireworks show scheduled right afterwards and it was long. Since this was in a residential area they would have needed a permit from the city which probably had a "finish by" time specified. BÖC finished right on time. 2. The show in Cedar Park (Austin basically): The venue had an agreement with the city that ALL bands (and other "loud" activities) be finished by 11 PM SHARP. Apparently there had been heated discussions between the venue, the neighborhood, and the city. The venue had to implement a number of noise abatement measures to stay within certain levels at XYZ locations nearby. I think the neighbors actually monitored the levels and times and reported back. Think speed trap. So if they went till 11:05 or so that COULD have caused a major problem for the venue. I don't know the exact terms. They finished up at 11 sharp.

There was also a small camera standing in front of the keyboard. Let's hope that those nights will be made unforgettable and carved into vinyl (and Blu Ray)!

I didn’t see the mid-hall guy, or the one in front of the keyboard. Phil Castellano manned a camera right in front of BD. He hid down pretty much the whole show (I was at the table right behind him).

How did they handle Subhuman? Was it like the original album or like Oyfooyk? I might have snuck a video or two. There were lots of videos going so I did a few as well. If Buck gave the ok I could post a few clips of the few songs so you guys could get a feel for what’s specially 3 days were like. I’d probably not post the whole song tho.. I wouldnt want it getting out beyond this page. Anyway . I do have Subhuman however, that message is for Ocean… Lots of videos going is an understatement for some songs. When i saw the camera that was filming towards the crowd, it struck me that some shots of the crowd would likely unveil a brigade of cell phone cameras shooting back. Hopefully if i end up making it onto the final product, it’ll show me on my best behavior cus i may have walked away with a video or two as well ; )

and just for the record, did "Vera Gemini" feature the original album intro by Patti, like they did for the AOF 40th concerts in 2016?

I am sorry we never met up! Got in Friday later than I wanted and once in, I didn’t move around much. Really only met up with MCamp, Jack and Alma, Gerard, and Cosmo over the 3 nights. PM me and I’ll send u the MSG show like we talked about! If I can figure out how to post photos here, I will. I was down front all three nights, so I got some really great shots.

The band was just incredible these three nights. The hard work the band put in to these shows was readily apparent. Loved the venue, and the staff there was fantastic. Incredible for an NYC club, don't ever remember being treated that well at a NYC music venue.
My wife came along Friday night and had a great time meeting everyone. It is an amazing family we've been a part of all these years. Thanks go to the band for breeding that type of environment and energy. So nice to hear we get to continue that journey in to next year.

Back home, just got done cutting the grass while listening to Secret Treaties and still have that “wow, I can’t believe that just happened” feeling.
