How to get out of a crisis situation?

I may have a solution:
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team.

I come to this site to talk about BOC and rock music. You should post stupid #+&_ on a different site.

I rely on this forum to recommend good plumbers, services and products. So should the rest of you.

I rely on this forum to recommend good plumbers, services and products. So should the rest of you. Always shop at Buck's Depot. For products ask for the "back door" specials at the 'Depot on clearance and "it's gotta go" items like worn guitar straps, sound equipment (dead and working), old 45's, used cool T-shirts, experimental pedal modules, broken guitar cases, anything else that hasn't been used in years or is held together using electrical tape, etc. to help set up your garage band. Best inventory in the area! Make sure the CEO is on tour that day. Ask for "SR" to get the best deals.

Wonder if Buck still has 45's with a number stuck on the label or the boxes we used to store them in.Or the red or yellow center pieces so we could play them.

Wonder if Buck still has 45's with a number stuck on the label or the boxes we used to store them in. Or the red or yellow center pieces so we could play them. I saw an interview of him done I think after the COVID lock down, so fairly recent. I remember a question about vinyl, think he said he still had vinyl, but NO turntable at the time to play any. I would bet he still has a decent vinyl collection with probably a lot of 45's. That's purely a guess on my part because I would personally keep stuff like that. By center pieces I assume you mean spiders? Even I still have a few in a drawer somewhere. My turntable came with a good spindle adapter, which I still have, so I really never bothered with the spiders. Wife want's me to get our turntable alive again. I think I just need to re-program one of the inputs on my A/V receiver. It's still connected from the last time we used it. It's old so hopefully the belt is still good. Probably impossible to find replacement parts anymore. The cartridge needle still looks OK and I think I have a spare cartridge since the last replacement was just an upgrade. She still has a pretty large stack of 45's, but probably not in the best shape. From her teenage years when kids brought their collection to parties and threw them on to play. I would hate to trash a needle from a really damaged record. I think the few 78's I had are probably gone. The gigantic all-mechanical player got sold off many, many years ago. I think I have 2 of the old tubular vinyls - I forget what they're called. The Edison(?) player I have I got at the dump as a kid never worked right. Missing the bottom box, the horn, and the one of the governor arms is broken. I did get it to somewhat play the couple I had. That was back in the early, early 60's. I don't know if Buck is a "junk" collector like me or not. If he's half the collector I am he may still have the stuff you're talking about. May or may not be in stock at Buck's Depot.

I had a few 78's I got from my friend who got them when his uncle died. Why Do Fools Fall In Love by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers was included. Most of my albums and 45's are all gone tho I can recall which ones I bought(45's) back when I was a teenager. And my first two singles I bought in '65 both white group hits of black group songs(Hang On Sloopy and Keep On Dancin') .Before then I had some red and yellow plastic my older cousin gave me.I have friends who are major collectors(my friend Steve's overstock was around 30,000 records).Used to go there on Friday nights going thru labels and putting the tunes on cassette tapes then taking them to the beach the next day where I played them for the group of people I hung out with at Brighton Beach. It's also where I met David Peel who had some SWU and SFG stories for me.
