That recording had a mood, didn't it? It really was the first song I'd written that was record worthy.

It just gets better and better. Was that recorded on a Les Paul?

It really was the first song I'd written that was record worthy. Actually, I wouldn't mind hearing the " unworthy" ones also - the only previous BD song I know of (prior to LDOM) was "Port Jefferson," (apparently there was a Pearlman Imaginos lyric to go with it) so that's obviously top of my wishlist to get to hear before I cash in my chips...

"Port Jefferson"> I used to have a tiny reel of ¼" tape with the demo on it. I couldn't tell you where that is, or if it would be playable.

Do you still remember it or would it be a rewrite if you tried to play it now? Just curious...cause I remember doing a 35 year reunion with my first band to record our originals and wow...we had forgotten so much. We ended up recording 5 (the ones we had on cassettes for guides) out of the 10 or so and one of those we rewrote a lot of lyrics we'd forgotten and the others were just too far down the memory hole to recover. It's fun reviving old music though!

It just gets better and better. Was that recorded on a Les Paul? No, it was my white (then red, not yet repainted) Gibson SG.

Ahh Buck, Gotta give yourself credit for your incredible writings and playing not just on this one:) This is an awesome song that so many get into watching you play at the shows. Great to hear all the comments after. I've a few recent video recordings of LDOM that are pretty worthy! Happy to post if anyone interested. They are really really good:)👍 😉

Buck’s writings, recordings, and all around musical abilities are far more superior to so much of the, dare I say, garbage, that we all know exists. However, Buck seems to be quite humble. It makes me wonder if he really knows just how great he is! Any and all videos welcome and appreciated, Cheryl!
