I have an ultra rare Polaroid of Buck and myself from 30 years ago. Very desirable because it's the only one in existence. I'll take 10gs for it.

Blue Oyster Cult, Guitar Pick, RARE PASTORE PICK! Authentic Vintage '75! On auction sites, the adjective "rare" often seems to do a lot of heavy lifting... in this particular case, I think the seller might need to shift the decimal point on his requested price about three places to the left...

Wonder how much my Eric pick from the late seventies or my Albert signed drum skins are worth. Maybe I can retire!

For $1,766.91 I could fly up to Buck's house, offer him $1,000 to dig thru his garage junk boxes and then negotiate for as much as I could talk him into parting with.
The remaining $766.91 should cover my travel expenses and shipment for any large scrounged stuff.
Better return on investment in my opinion.

Remember when they first came out and you had to take that waxy stick and coat the pictures to keep them from fading? Good thing they got past that or it probably wouldn't have been nearly so successful. Oh and Espo...I think you should dig that rare treasure out and post it for us to see!

You can ask as much as you want on auctions...doesn't mean you are going to sell it for that amount or if the item is even close in value to what your asking. Seller is just dreaming.

My first camera was a Polaroid Swinger I bought at a garage sale in the early 1970's for 50 cents. After you took a picture and pulled it out of the camera, you had to time it just right before pulling the brown paper off of the picture, and then rolled a squeegee on the picture to coat it with some kind of shellac or something. Ah, the memories!

Buck Dharma I have lost too many Buck picks over the years. Sometimes they turn up in my dryer filter along with a dozen others. Function over form. 🤫
