Kick Out the Jams is listed as explicit on Amazon. Does that mean Eric went the full MFer on this version? 🤣🤣🤣

Wrong! Just read Ralph's post across the road - If I Fell is a beatles tune! I believe this is the first song & album, I knew all the lyrics to. Thanks, Mom!

Sounds like just a opinion from the writer with no concrete evidence to support.

Great discussion by Richie and Steve. I loved Steve's "God I miss that guy" in reference to Allan. Such genuine feelings. And there's a studio Roadhouse Blues on the Nihon release version? WTF? What, we're not worthy?

"Ghost Stories" tunes are mostly George Geranious' master tapes, which were remixed and mastered by Richie Castellano and Steve Schenck. They did quite a bit of work on George's tapes (transferred to digital, of course) using modern tech to deconstruct elements and balances and then reconstructing them in the release mix.
Yeah, this is the reason GPG's recordings disappeared from the internets. How ghostly is it in 2024 to have a new official BOC record with almost all the content created by the original members? Joe is well represented here.

A VERY COOL song. Can’t wait for the rest..! Pre-ordered my purple vinyl today

For this 65 year old fan I feel as if BÖC did this on purpose only to hang this on my head as a proper cap to my years of Fandom. My love and appreciation of you guys is not able to be charted. It's level goes beyond Susie's extraterrestrial reality.

Just preordered it-the only things I ever pre-order are BOC stuff and The Hunt For Reacher Books.LOL
I don't know how a song gets played these days is it places like Spotify,YouTube or what but I love The Only Thing and still can't believe it was left off Mirrors as it could have been a hit back then.Hope it sees a single release.
Question-my two fave tunes on Symbol Remains are Edge Of The World and Nightmare Epiphany.Any reason why they haven't been done live are they too difficult cuz I'd love to hear these live.

How ghostly is it in 2024 to have a new official BOC record with almost all the content created by the original members? Joe is well represented here. I think it's a very welcome development, and one which could stand further exploitation - according to the Richie/SS video, a number of tracks fell by the wayside due to quality issues - I should report that a lot of us are perfectly happy with George's original mixes and if the quality drops below optimum in places, we can live with that... Here's an oft-expressed idea: George has all the gigs that went into the July 1975 "Live in the West" compilation, so why not take UFO's "Strangers in the Night" as an exemplar, where they released a separate disk for each gig that provided source material for the album, and do the same for LITW? A Deluxe "Live in the West" set would be a relatively easy win for everyone - we do not care if there's an odd bum note here and there, we'd just love to have these gigs to be preserved for posterity... if you start off with the notion that, "oh, it's not perfect so we can't sanction it", then we'll never get anywhere... I would also advocate for the same treatment for OYF but I just can't see that ever happening because so much splicing between gigs seems to have gone on, with the solo from gig X being dropped into the verse from gig Y, that it just doesn't seem a realistic hope... but, yes, my version of a perfect world would include a Deluxe version of "On Your Feet" also... As Radiohead sang, on their Bends album: "Nice Dream"....

If this is truly the end then what a great send off to have Symbol followed by unreleased rarities from the original members. A lot of bands simply do not get to end their recording careers on their own terms, so that’s a lot more sweet than bitter a capstone. I’ll have to get that Japanese version to get Roadhouse Blues, too.

what's astonishing is that the bulk of Ghost Stories comes from preproduction of two -ahem- lesser efforts like Mirrors and Revolution, what we heard from GPG's channel in the recent past is clearly superior in quality to most of the songs included on the final releases, which is definitely rising high expectations for the upcoming album
