it's actually better than what I expected. (and Ocean is right. Allen's presence is tangible and is, as far as I'm concerned, the high point of this record) now, let's hear all the Red Box tapes ! please ? My two journeys to The Museum of Cult involved a night of hearing the redbox T & M and Cultosaurus Erectus…plus, plus, plus… Is there much left from the Redbox we Haven’t heard?

now, let's hear all the Red Box tapes ! please ? and if there's ever going to be a volume 2 from GG's vaults, then let's call it "Ezekiel's Wheel" a tentative title for what eventually became Heaven Forbid, proposed by Allen, which I've always found a great title for a possible BÖC album

Still waiting on my shipment. All this talk about the album is driving me crazy.

I got the Japanese version today, too. Roadhouse Blues sounds good. I must admit, I find Japanese bonus tracks irritating when they should be on the core album, especially for streaming purposes. The Japanese packaging doesn't show that Roadhouse Blues is included, it's just listed on the Japanese language insert.

New Ghost Stories drop. Different than most of BOC, but I love it! For a live performance, opens up the possibility for a fifth member on stage.

I’m debating whether to get the Japanese version just for Roadhouse Blues or not. 20+ for one song is a bit much…. But I WANT it lol. Then again I bought 8 different vinyl versions of symbol so I don’t know that now’s the time for me to be cheap 🤣

I waited until I could listen straight through several times (about 10 since getting the CD). First, I really like Ghost Stories...it's really quite good! I think the highlight of the album is definitely "The Only Thing". What a great song! I loved Bucks vocals, guitar and Allen's keys were all great. I also liked Money Machine (nice nod to the Beatles in there too). And I was pleasantly surprised by "Shot In The Dark" (chorus sounds very much like early BOC), and "Soul Jive". The earworm for me was Cherry...keeps playing in my head.
Again though, I am so glad that Albert wanted Buck to sing TOT...it's perfect! So thankful that George preserved those treasures! Love it!

And buried in that interview don't forget "Roeser, meanwhile, has been working on a new solo track called “The End of Every Song” that he plans to release this year...."

The Japanese packaging doesn't show that Roadhouse Blues is included, it's just listed on the Japanese language insert. Anyone know when this version of Roadhouse Blues was recorded? The write up (in the Japanese insert) talks about the song being released as a single in 1982, but that was the live version from ET Live. So it's not clear to me whether this version was recorded earlier, or around that same '82 timeframe.
