Just out of curiosity..
This is a tune with the lyrics and music by Buck. It was on an album by "Deadringer". The Bouchards performed on the album.
I temporarily misplaced the link for the page with more gory details, but short of that a decent descriptions is at:
The lyrics are on there but a little hidden in the mix along with the credit to Buck.
Some YouTube comments said BOC did it live on occasion. I couldn't find any proof of that. Other comments I read said it was the only decent song on the album, doesn't mean that is true.
Here's the song:

This was written and demoed for the "Teachers" movie along with Joe B's Double Talk and Shadow Warrior but were not included upon the films release. BOC played this live at the 40th anniversary show and then several times in 2012/13. I know some fans didn't like it much - but thought it worked well live.
As for the Deadringer Album - there were a few reasonable songs but I'd agree that SCL was the highlight.

Albert co wrote a track on the Deadringer album but it's just Joe performing on the record. As for SCL, the track is on the Rarities CD in the BÖC Columbia Box Set (and probably on the RSD vinyl taken from it) and the live version ? you didn't search long enough :

To see how many times - and where - BOC have performed any given song in their KNOWN setlists, go to the following url and select the desired song title (the entries are grouped by LP) using the drop-down menus under "BOC Song Locater": www.hotrails.co.uk/giglopaedia/search.htmThe position in the set where that song appeared is given in the last column. Here's the result for Summa:

I've heard it many times listening to the "rarities" recordings but never heard a live version until now. Thanks for posting that Frog...that's pretty kick ass live! And thanks to Ralph for maintaining the "BOC Encyclopedia Britannica" for the rest of us to have an authoritative resource of live performances....AWESOME!

OK guys, thanks for finding it! Even if spelled differently:
I searched for exactly how it was spelled on the 1989 Deadringer album itself and on the Discogs page. Both of them say "Summa Cum LOUD" - not LAUDE. If I search using the Laude spelling it shows up in multiple places for BOC as you guys have found.
So somebody changed the spelling somewhere. Deadringer would be my guess based on what dates I found, but who knows.
Just FYI: I found the original link where I stumbled on this. The 15 MB pdf file shows the vinyl itself. It's the first one on the B-side.
(The spelling "laude" is used one time in the Deadringer lyrics)

Deadringer’s change of the title spelling, and the way they sing it, is pretty lame IMHO. BD wasn’t making it a sex joke.
I love the BOC version, was lucky enough to hear it live at Arlington Heights. Our host was gracious enough to play it after I requested it.
This thread led me to take a deep dive into the Rarities release from the box set. Damn there’s some good tunes in that.
