Came across this tonight. Thought I’d share. What was your first “BOC experience”? It all started right here for me: Blue Öyster Cult - August 23rd, 1975. The Cleveland Municipal Stadium. World Series Of Rock!! I was completely blown away! I was 15 and lied to my parents and said I was camping with some friends. Hitched a ride with friends my parents thought were some real scallywags. (They kinda were) They would have lost their minds if they knew I was at that show back then. I was completely blown away. Ironically, a cool dude that worked for my dad got me the tickets and a small amount of “green vegetable matter”… Just for the show ya know.. I quit counting shows at about #50 in the late 90s. NEVER a bad one, and 48 years later The Öyster Boys remain EPIC! Thanks for all the great memories Buck, et.al!

Sadly, my first concert was not until 2023 in Warren, Ohio. Partly because I was only 5-6 years old during the heyday years! I came from a very small town in West Virginia, and as one can imagine BÖC was not playing in the streets during fair week! Later in life I discovered BÖC. I have been obsessed with the lyrics, the music, the band. Not psycho fan obsessed, but my own obsession within. I traveled a lot with a military husband and the stars never aligned for me to see them until 11/23. I had the best time at the concert. My husband said the smile on my face throughout the entire concert could have lit up the room.

I'd take that 88,000 figure with a pinch of salt...

I had front row tickets for that Warren show, but annoyingly, I had a mandatory out of state work event I was forced to attend. I gave the tickets to some good friends and they were blown away. It was their first show. Would have been my 70-80th or something like that. Lost count
