Do any Blue Oyster Cult Fans actually FEAR THE REAPER anymore?!?!?!?! I fear leaving bullshit behind for my loved ones to deal with. I fear debt and cost of living increases. In THAT way I fear death. But if I’m gone then I can’t miss life because I simply won’t be (or, if there’s an afterlife, I’d like to think I’d be at peace). So… I fear not being able to set up my loved ones after I’m gone, but I do not fear death itself.

I've spent a lifetime doing things and being in circumstances that evoked the harshest feelings of fear. As the man said "There's nothing to fear but fear itself" I learned the hard way through life, by crashing and destroying motorcycles, cars and my body repeatedly, that fear is the greatest motivation a person can harness. The term "Fearless" is a joke. It's not real. Every person lives in some level of fear. But when you learn how to believe in the fact that you are capable of anything you then can find fear as a tool that sharpens your talents. DFTR
