Seeing this interview this morning. Driving on the last leg towards Tennessee so I’ll take a listen.

1976 Eric Bloom, 'Yeah man, Reaper's kinda light for BOC'. 1978 Eric Bloom, channeling Leif Garrett and singing with Tiger Beat conviction, 'The only thing that lasts forever...'
Having said, TOTTLF is my favorite track by far on GS; could have been a 90s hit with a Gin Blossoms type arrangement. Very nice tune; Allan's warbly organ solo brings to mind the black-and-white era. How You're Not the One... got picked over this...?

Great interview by our own Buckmeister General! Loved the part where he'd be surprised if Ghost Stories was really the end....and that he plans to keep performing "somewhere". Count us in Buck...we'll come see ya!

Speaking of playing "somewhere", here's one being advertised but not shown on the official BOC schedule:
"Rock legends Blue Oyster Cult will return to the Great New York State Fair in 2024. Blue Oyster Cult will perform at the NYS Fair’s Chevy Court stage on Tuesday, August 27 at 6 p.m."

I found it. Ticket prices reasonable even for the best seats, but looks like quite a few already sold.
I wonder how many other "unannounced" ones are floating around? If one shows up in driving distance from me, I want to be the first in line.

I agree with you Joe. All the “good” seats are already gone, not super close for us, but was thinking mini vacay. I was spoiled by the Warren, Ohio venue in November. It is a relatively small concert arena, but we had really good seats a few rows back. My new mission is front row.

All I know is the boys deserve this. Time to play B sides.. Thanks Buck Yes sir....as much as I would love for it to go on forever...nobody is more deserving of living the life they want to live than Buck and Eric! I wish them only happiness and great health! And if they get bored and decide to perform... I know the BDTE crew will be there!
