I"ll say it again...Its a great time to be a BOC fan. The current band is great and doing shows like this for the hardcore fans and the 40th show is pretty awesome.
The recent taping-past boots ban issue is very separate for most all fans....although Id say those upset by it are some very very loyal BOC fans. Im not a taper myself.

Adding more thought on the show itself, when I had heard Buck on lead vocals for True Confessions sometime after the full audio show was uploaded, I was quite impressed. ^_^ I also loved listening to Don't Fear the Reaper in its original key. What I was particularly intrigued about the setup for the concert was learning that it was in two sets.

Speaking of AOF...it was my first BOC 8 track (or album). Always loved it. A month ago if asked my top 3 BOC disks...it would have just missed the top 3.
Since the BBK show my appreciation for the music on this album no doubt has it top 3...and thats a tough list to crack. What a great album to give this treatment too. Perfect.

You know, I don't give a damm about recording audio or video at our shows. I've never heard of dimeadozen, and I doubt if anyone else in the organization has either. I am in the minority with that opinion, as far as BOC goes. The others still try to control what goes out (or doesn't, as it happens) with the band's music and performance.
Someone post a link to that site and I'll see if anything has been done on our side.

Buck, I'm sorry if I made you and anyone else irritated.
After I had made my reply, I wasn't going to touch on the issue anymore on the thread, and I will not.

Never been to dimedozen either but I think there was another site as well where folks swap boots. Maybe someone can post it here so you can look at that one too.

Someone post a link to that site and I'll see if anything has been done on our side. www.dimeadozen.org/Gerard posted on J&A a redacted part of the email demanding BOC be removed: Subject: Fwd: BLUE OYSTER CULT, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, BÖC, BOC From: Steve Schenck <************@tkoco.com> Date: 09.04.2016 00:51 To: "btadm@dimeadozen.org" <btadm@dimeadozen.org>
Please remove as requested. 2nd request.
Steve Schenck | TKO tel:: ***-***-****<tel:***-***-****> | fax:: ***-***-****<tel:***-***-****> •:: ************@tkoco.com<mailto:************@tkoco.com> website:: The thing with Dime is that they absolutely will not carry ANYTHING official or even anything about to become official - so let's say you record the Saban gig with a view to releasing it in some format in the future, Dime won't allow it... and I can understand, if you have possible new stuff in the pipeline, you would greatly prefer bootleg versions of that to be discouraged... but Cleveland 91? Detroit 73? Minneapolis 79? etc etc - what good does it do anybody to remove access to those for fans? If you plan to release any of that stuff, OK - we'll buy them because that's what we do, but if BOC are not going to do that, then what's to be gained by stopping us hearing them....? Incidentally - thanks for making your attitude to taping clear - it's refreshing to hear...

I was just pumped to hear "True Confessions" live for the first time. Buck nailed it. Needs to become a regular rotation to the set.

The LA show was fantastic, one of my favorites ever. Brother Brian and I flew in for the gig, couldn't miss this one! My 140th show and they did 7 tunes I've never seen live (counting The 5 Guitars as one), and then closed with brother Albert Bouchard on drums and vocals on Cities on Flame. Just wonderful.
