Nice tune-reminiscent to me at least of 70's soul and that's a good thing.

An FM favorite from 1970.Lead singer Michael Fennelly is a FB friend-basically everything he posts of rare unreleased early material I've really liked.I bought this album:

Weird that a TFF album would be OOP.I'm sure that it goes for a bunch on Ebay or Amazon.I no longer have a turntable and I'd bet my collector friends don't have this record but perhaps it's worth checking out I could have it transferred to cd for me.

It's out of print because Arista Records fucked them over, dropped them before the album was even released, and didn't market it.

Today is a low key kind of day. John Denver, Simon & Garfunkel, The Carpenters, etc.

I rediscovered that song earlier when I was looking for Slip Kids from The Who. Slit Skirts is much better but still kind of self indulgent on Pete's part.

He is pretty self-indulgent at times. I have one of his scooped records and amidst a lot of the self indulgence is some REALLY good shit

Today is a low key kind of day. John Denver, Simon & Garfunkel, The Carpenters, etc. Karen Carpenter was held in high regard by all of the great female black singers of the day.Similar to how Doris Day circa late 40's/early 50's was revered by all the great female black jazz/pop singers.

I guess I am in the letter P(coming next, Perry Como?) in Winamp. Not really into dance music, but:

In a John Denver mood today I remember watching a show about his death. Airplanes seem to take out a larger percentage of singers/musicians than any other profession(maybe not pilots, LOL!). I could not get into the nuts and berries thing, but a very good singer

Nice tune-reminiscent to me at least of 70's soul and that's a good thing. Video unavailable. Not what I expected, definitely some soul inspiration there. My son loved the Greatest Hits album, we used to ride around in the car with it on. He is 25, moved out to AZ in January. Yeah, I miss him.
