For the last hour and the next two hours I shall be listening to some "classic" Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Way Down in the Rust Bucket, recorded live in Santa Cruz CA in November 1990 and part of the never-ending Neil Young Performance Series. More more more...

Winnipeg salutes Neil & Crazy Horse.
I still have fond memories of his 2008 show.

The Blue Stones- Spirit. I know nothing about them but they have a great retro sound, I hope that they do well.
Drivin' and Cryin'- Honeysuckle Blue. Listening to them brings me back to my time living in Georgia and being able to see them just about every other week, it seemed.

My favourite "new" discovery of the last five years is the veteran Norwegian band, Motorpsycho. Are they heavy, are they grungey, are they psychedelic, a bit punk at times? Are they the Norwegian Beach Boys? Yes to all of those depending on which part of their 30 year catalogue you decide to dip into. Bent Saether, the bassist, once say that one of his all-time favourite albums is Secret Treaties so we know the man has taste. He's also been seen to wear BOC t-shirts on stage. Anyway, I am currently listening to their brand new song, The Warning (Pt. 1) from their forthcoming album Kingdom of Oblivion. I, for one, cannot wait to hear the full thing.
and if you have 42 minutes spare some time check out the 42 minute track N.O.X. Parts 1-5 off their last album, The All Is One. Here's part of part 2.
And if you need further proof of just how wonderful they are and how much noise they make, check out this recording from a German festival in 2018. Absolutely stellar.
I know what I am going to listen to for the rest of the weekend....

Work sucked today, but it's five now... Loved this tune ,Turn Around Look At Me(but still love the Glen Campbell original best)and You're The One.When we saw them about ten years ago the song that I finally realized how good it was was the Brill Building written Magic Town(Barry Mann/Cynthia Weil).

Her voice is so expressive, and her guitar playing is so soulful. And what I love more than anything is the arrangement she gets with the guitar sonics. She builds such an incredible soundscape here with every element.

The new Black Crows song is great, and even better that the Robinson brothers are on good terms with each other, currently.
