Her voice is so expressive, and her guitar playing is so soulful. And what I love more than anything is the arrangement she gets with the guitar sonics. She builds such an incredible soundscape here with every element. A nice sparse soulful arrangement that is meant to show off her voice but it's not something I'd want to hear repeated plays of.It's OK you have my attention what else can you do?

Listening to some Midnight Oil since I found two of their albums at a thrift store. I really like this stuff. The only thing I knew from before was Beds are Burning.

Work has really stunk the last two weeks, and perhaps some of that can be chalked up to quarantine depression, but I've been getting g through the day listening to a lot of just fun and happy-sounding music. Today I can't get Don't Get Me Wrong out of my head.

Danny Elfman just announced his first solo album since the 80's! The music released so far is weird, strange, and fascinating. I can understand people not liking it, for sure, but I find it interesting. Oingo Boingo is one of those great New Wave bands that was too sadly overshadowed by Elfman's later career scoring films. The first song is so strange and demented, and I love it! The latter track I posted here, True, is kind of like NIN/Gary Numan industrial-inspired. I wouldn't have predicted something like this. I probably won't listen to it as much but I still enjoy it on some level.

Good and positive energy in this live, a solide performance With a superb teen archer version I am so glad I got to see Teen Archer live. It was at my first BOC show in 2002, and they did Teen Archer and Unknown Tongue. And at my next show they did Tattoo Vampire. I feel lucky to have seen some pretty wicked deep tracks. Buck held that "she don't caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare" a REALLY long time at that first show. Does anybody know if they've done that since Richie joined the band? He'd be great doing the keyboard interplay with the guitar I'd bet.
