Cesar Zuiderwijk was once asked by Pete Townshend to replace Keith Moon, who had become increasingly erratic and unreliable. He chose to stay with Golden Earring. Listening to him playing and seeing how powerful he was, you can kind of see where Pete saw a connection.

Have these four on repeat. Love these guys! This is like something out of O Brother Where Art Thou? Kind of a fun goofball tune.

Carnage by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis. This pretty much a side project but to my ears is the best thing Cave has done for a while. His recent albums have received glowing reviews from the critics but I find that I admire them rather than actually like them, this however is is top notch stuff that I am playing again & again.

I need to get Carnage. I have a bunch of Bad Seeds albums but none of the ones recorded with Warren Ellis and that needs to be rectified. I love the last Bad Seeds album, Ghosteen. Sad sad sad but beautiful.
