Listening to a lot of Australian rock today. The Church, Sonnyboys, Midnight Oil, and Hunters & Collectors Loved The Church. The Blurred Crusade is a great album. The Triffids were also great, their Born Sandy Devotional album is a classic. Thanks for the recommendation! I'm gonna give them a listen today!

Listened to a variety of the Fab Four's individual solo records today.
There is nothing quite like listening to John Lennon's solo work to be reminded what a genius Paul McCartney is...

I'm listening tobthe new Yes album, and debates about whether ot can actually be counted as "Yes" aside, I dig it. It isn't great, no, but it sounds lovely thanks in large part to Steve Howe, and there are some nice gems in there, including this which is my favorite on the album, and the most straightforward and non-proggy thing on it, oddly enough.

Proof that everything sounds better with a guitar.

I have no idea why this showed up in youtube, although maybe I hunted down a Simon and Garfunkel tune or two along the way:

"Smiling and waving and looking so fine... don't think you knew you were in my song..." - damn - it gets me every time...

Amazon Music always nails it with their algorithm. I had never heard of this band before but I'm already hooked halfway through the first song on this album.

Very 70's the vocals remind me Blues Image and Chicago (CTA).

Listening to their album Live in Concert 1982, but I can't find the video for that, so here's a studio track by them
