They just played a gig here in Fort Myers a few weeks ago. It was a big two-day outdoor show at JetBlue Park called Fort Rock. They headlined one day, and Def Leppard headlined the other. Here's a link from our local newspaper with the story and some pictures of their recent gig: Soundgarden in Fort Myers

A talented but obviously distraught/disturbed guy, a total shame/waste; great voice, RIP and condolences to friends/family/fans.

Depressing news. You'd think the guy was on top of the world. What a voice.

Depressing news. You'd think the guy was on top of the world. What a voice. Phenomenal vocalist. Only a month ago I stated on Facebook that I only had one artist to complete my rock bucket list....that artist was Chris Cornell. He has played Glasgow quite a lot but for some reason or other I couldn't make any of his gigs. My bucket list will never be complete now. So sad. His poor wife and daughters!

Shocking that he committed suicide His wife is hinting that he had a problem with a certain prescription drug, which apparently causes depression! Not sure why a doctor would prescribe any drugs that cause depression. No doubt the toxicology report will reveal the real reason. No matter what, he was a fantastic vocalist, who will be sadly missed by his family, friends and fans!
