I've played on and off for about 35 years.Mostly guitar but I play around with keys, etc. I've never had very much equipment, but a lot of things have come down in price so I bought some finally. Honestly,Band Geek inspired my purchase because I want to get some people together and battle them online and/or go up there and sit in.
So that being said,here's what I just bought; Roland FA-06,,Godin XTSA,,Roland GR-55,,a Steinberger style lucite bass,,BP 355.(They couldn't find the BP-355 in the warehouse,so I'm gonna go with a Sansamp GED-2112)
I already own;an Edwards/ESP Cloud guitar,,Peavey Vypyr,,Yamaha PSR e413,,Alesis Multimix 8fx,,CAD GXL2200.
I'm looking for a new desktop and I'll probably change the mixer.I do want to have a little studio set up as well.
My question though is,,What would you run the roland stuff through? I'm not going to be doing big gigs or anything,if I did play live it'd just be a bar. So far I am leaning towards getting a powered pa system.I wish they made a 12 channel Eon. Any thoughts/suggestions?
well,I went with a pair of JBL LSR 305's.They seem to work great, you really get a great range of frequency out of the Roland stuff. This Gr-55 is incredible.I can not stop playing Kashmir with the dadgad phaser setting. I need some "I Love the Night" tab.
