Oh no! They say he's got to go! Looks like Godzilla has returned, to the dismay of Buck Dharma. They should have illustrated with the white SG, though. Apparently, this is a real thing--a "Garbage Pail Kids" bubblegum card that was produced in by the Topps company in a 2017 "Hard Rock" series. LOL.

That's period correct. I played the tobacco sunburst Les Paul Deluxe at the time of that gray outfit. That was around On Your Feet.

BTW: has anyone ever produced a list of what guitars were played when? - it might help date certain photos...

Great idea. I'd forgotten the Les Paul but must have seen Buck play it. It may have been a hallucination but I'm sure I saw Buck also use a Strat for one song (sorry can't remember which one) at gigs circa the late seventies or early eighties. There was also the natural/blonde finish SG that wasn't actually a Gibson in use around the same time.

I've seen that before, but there's no dates or contextual info there - a while back, I jotted down an initial list - all I have to do is fill in some of the blanks and add date ranges for their usage - piece of cake!! : Guitars:Stella acoustic Premier Jazz Box (with two pickups) Gear:Ampeg Reverb Rocket Amp Sears 2x12" guitar amp I know Buck then got a "Hagstrom", but I don't know when, or how long it was used for... Nor do I know what guitar he used 1965-1966 in The Disciples, nor 1966-1967 in the Travesty. Was that the Hagstrom? 1968-1971 years SWU SFG Dunno what guitars were used during these years, but gear-wise I did read they bought Acoustic 260s with their first advance because they were Doors fans. Also, a John Weisenthal-stencilled amp was up on eBay a few years back... My presumption is that Buck would also have bought a new guitar with that advance, but I dunno what it was... After that, well the list goes like this, as per that link Randy mentioned, but as I said, I don't have dates yet (plus I reckon some of them on this list weren't in use for long or had 'one-off' type applications): 1969 Gibson SG Standard (later redone in white - "lost" in 1990 at an outdoor Festival in San Antonio TX) - but when did it enter the story... Tobacco Sunburst Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (bought new around 1973) Gibson Les Paul Black BeautyMartin D-35 ("In Thee") Guiliano Balestra Vulcan Fender Stratocaster St. Blues Rick Kresiak Custom SG Steinberger P Series Steinberger M Series Steinberger M Series Double Neck Steinberger "Cheese Berger" Harper Buck Dharma Signature ModelGear:Marshalls Music Man amps Boogie Mark II heads If anyone can fill in any blanks, please do so...

Actually, I've just noticed that if you click on those images, rather than just run your mouseover them to see the image, you get a little pop-up with some more info in - I'm sure I clicked on them the last time I checked that page out and nothing happened, but maybe I'm going mad... I know some people who would say: "what do you mean going...?" Anyway, I'll see what info I can glean from that extra info and fill in a couple of blanks myself, hopefully...
