I was a little bummed out when the original video was removed, but I'm happy that there's now a newer longer version. Great job Daryl!

Some of that's from the BBC "Rock Anthems" special, so it'd be interesting to see how easy it is to get permission to use that stuff in any sort of "official" manner... but then again, the BBC didn't credit BOC in any way shape or form on the recent "Career of Evil" show, so if they start being sniffy about things, remind them of the concept of quid pro quo...

I've just had a quick search round youtube to see if I could find that BBC "Great American Rock Anthems Turn it up to 11" - show, but with no luck - I could only find this Nirvana segment taken from it:

David Lucas sent me the link last summer. I've been in touch with their producers. Nice source for the Bouchard's and Sandy Pearlman.

I wish I had met Sandy, these clips show he would’ve been a great dude to talk with.

I wish I had met Sandy, these clips show he would’ve been a great dude to talk with. Yeah, I miss him. He'd started coming around to see us when we played the Santa Cruz boardwalk the last few years we were there. Last summer was the first time he hadn't come since then.

Do you recall the first time you met him? I've always presumed it was at a practice session at the Bennetts Road "band house", but I also once heard that the first meeting was at party there that you guys were playing at - apparently, everyone had come back to the house after a Country Joe gig at SBU and that's when SP first clocked the not-yet-formed SWU... and then the police turned up and shut it all down... well, that's what I heard, anyway...
