Found it on YouTube and they're playing songs I thought I'd never hear them play live.

I was at this show...not a great recording but balls to the wall performance, especially from Buck. After the solo in Burnin' I looked at Reich and we both were like - this just got real.

LOL Buck IMHO was really going for it on Burnin.Wham bam right up the scale.I really loved the encore tunes-both IMO were great.I guess the tune I wasn't that in love with that evening was ETI.OK but the version from '81 on E.T.L. was to me the best ever.A few E.B. misses especially compared to the Cincy show that's available that was I think about a year or two before. That was overall more solid but the great moments on LDN were better.Hey that's rock n roll. BTW Buck mentioned meeting Kenny Vance couple of years back at the L.I. induction ceremony.Kenny can't perform anymore-I think he's recovered from the cancer but he's got other issues now I've been told.Sad-the ex-Jay & the American was a really good singer and performer.Gary Bonner who wrote Happy Together used to perform with him until Gary moved to Calif.

It's a shame that the Navy Pier stopped having good concerts, that was a great annual BÖC tradition there for a few years.

Love that everytime I watch that I see my buddy Dick Wallsmith in the crowd. Rob-Wonder why they don't do shows there.I used to go to the Pier in Manhattan and that was a great place for shows but they shut it down for some reason. In 1989 I saw :Jethro Tull(with Fairport Convention),Roy Orbison(Southside Johnny opening)/Dion(Ronnie Spector opened),Stevie Ray Vaughan(with Joe Satriani opening),Joe Cocker and Santana. It was a cool place -my friends would hold spots in the front of the line and when they opened the doors you'd run to get great seats. We had third row for Orbison.
