"Anyone who saw that show, in that time period, they don't forget it" - Buck Dharma - AMEN to THAT! ... and anyone who had to PAY for that show, in that time period, "they don't forget it" either!! Still, as with many things, it was great while it lasted....

I think my 1976 BÖC & Bob Seger ticket stub is around here someplace. Think it was four bucks.

While we're on the subject. I always thought other bands were using them long after BOC pulled the plug on them. Also, there seems to have always been laser AV shows typically set to Pink Floyd music in production throughout the years. How have these survived regulation? (Presumably by syncing to less powerful music of course!)

This is a great question for LaserDave, he runs "Paramount's Laser Spectacular featuring the music of Pink Floyd" I do some of the video screen work. The lasers can't be aimed or directed directly at the audience. I'll send him a message to come over here and respond.

BOC didn't see any point in the horrendous expense of using the lasers if we couldn't do the show we had done.

Saw to shows on the 1978 UK leg of the "Laser" tour. One with the lasers at Manchester, it was genuinely awesome. And at Liverpool mostly without the lasers (Prince Charles stopped the lasers, it's been discussed here previously) the show was still fantastic.
