This seems pretty well done yet nothing about it would make me want to hear it again. Does that make sense?

I'm afraid I must admit, I had never heard of "Amazonica" before... but I hope she's really famous and well-liked, because then it all helps to spread the word - but personally, I found it a cold, soulless exercise... it just went in one ear, and then - thankfully!! - out the other, and whatever lay between was unaffected by the passage... what you really need is someone like Lady Gaga to cover "Quicklime Girl" to start opening up the back catalogue to a new generation... #andpigsmightfly

I like the vocal a lot. I like how low it is, they do it in the original key. The track works sometimes but not always. They should have done something in the riff so the high G rings, like it does when it's played on guitar.
Is it the low vocal that made Ralph think of Lady Gaga? I think the Shiny Toy Guns version of "Burnin'" is more successful.

This version was okay. However, not my cup of tea sadly.

This one from a damn good movie that I need to watch again. My cousin just went to a thing in California where they watched the movie in the backyard and had a party in the house from the movie. Cool.

Sorry. Cant beat the BOC live version... complete with noodle. The noodle had a nice side of drums and keys kicked in Saturday in Concord NH.
Nice venue...another excellent show...tough sitting during high energy BOC live music though. Theater setting. Lisa wanted to dance so we moved to stand/hang all the way in the back of the venue just before the Reaper and beyond. Sound wasnt as sweet there (lost the highs) as at the seated spot (perfect) but it sure was fun to stand !
Anyone else notice how much Richie is really kicking up the keys where he plays them nowadays !? Very nice.
