The roadhouse blues version of Ghost stories is great, never been a fan of the live versions (except for the guitar duel with Robby Krieger and Buck).

When The Only Thing wins a Grammy they can then release BOC-The Grammy Years. BTW If and when BOC finally make the Hall they should perform She's As Beautiful As A Foot,Workshop and Redeemed as a nice fuck you to the Hall.I think Lars and the rest of the BOC fans in the audience would get a kick out of it. Just as long as Rob Reich and I get to induct them, Allen (sure miss him, DFTR) and Buck said maybe we could.

Got my copies (CD & Vinyl) at the weekend. Love the idea of an album by the original band members coming out of the ether at us all.
After a couple of listens I think the project is wholly worthwile, I particularly like So Supernatural, Soul Jive & The Only Thing. It is interesting that the bulk of the songs appear to come from the Mirrors & RBN sessions as most of them could have been substituted for some of the weaker songs (make your own choice here) & made those records stronger, you could also apply this to CN. I should also say that the record is getting better with each listen & considering these are demos the sound is fabulous. It's also beyond wonerful to hear Allen playing with the band again. A tour (including Europe & the UK) to promote it would make me an even happier bunny!

Yeah, I like this record, certainly for what it is, and maybe because I wasn't too close to the nuts and bolts creation of it, I appreciate it more as a listener.

Money Machine, The Only Thing, and Soul Jive are permanent favs at this point. I also have a surprising amount of love to Don’t Come Running which I did not expect on first listen. That’s grown on me the most. So Supernatural also kicks arse. Still debating on whether to splurge on the Japanese version for just one more song, but I’m leaning towards doing it come next paycheck.

I listen to Pandora a lot. One of my “stations” is Blue Oyster Cult radio on Pandora. Searched Blue Oyster Cult many moons ago and hit go.
Great classic rock music similar to BOC with BOC deep tracks blended in….maybe one per every 10 maybe is BOC. Cult Classic versions, deep tracks, live cuts….and the last 2 weeks LOTS of Ghost Stories tunes ! Heard 3 off it today alone. 👍👍👍
Check it out !!

In the last 10 days I’ve heard on this BOC Pandora station….
Don’t Come Running Late Night Street Fight Soul Jive So Supernatural The Only Thing Money Machine
and Cult Classic version of DFTR. Not unusual to hear deeper VOTPW, LDOM type tracks blended in as well….
Pretty F’n Cool ! I’ve subscribed for quite a while and there are a lot of other streaming options out there..but It works well and keeps my interest. Pandora is a great hands off type of listening that exposes some unknown or at least unusual music cuts for me.
