Heading out this week to see a pretty cool band- Los Lobos. I'm excited to see them. Hear lots of good stuff about them.. Second row center should be a good place to sit. . Any feedback .. good or otherwise on these guys?

Fantastic east L.A. band been putting out great music (albums and live performances) for almost as long as our beloved BOC.
You won't be disappointed.

As far as bands I've seen live, LL would be a close second to BOC w/ The Grateful Dead holding the #1 spot. I saw them earlier this year at the Barre Opera House in Vermont, and had some late night partying w/ the guys following the show. They are about as down to earth great guys as it comes in the music industry; hoping to see them again later this year.

Cheryl, what'd you think of Los Lobos? I'd see 'em anytime I could. Thanks for asking. Los Lobos, they really know how to put on a show. They were fantastic and the music was great. I really had a good time. Ha, I only wish I knew a little more Spanish! I must agree with you in saying you could see them any time. Met them all after the show. Great group of guys and very kind. And the "Green Room? Ya that one was pretty green:) With a table was full of food, I had to laugh a little. There sitting in the center was a bottle of Jack.... Empty! Guess they were pretty thirsty. Anyways, here is a little video you may enjoy FYI.. Richie Valens birthday was the day of the show May 13, (born in 1941) Died Feb 3,1959 so they played La Bamba in his memory. Here is something you may enjoy

Los Lobos recorded "La Bamba" for the bio-pic of the same name with Lou Diamond Phillips as Richie Valens.

Los Lobos recorded "La Bamba" for the bio-pic of the same name with Lou Diamond Phillips as Richie Valens. Good to know. Love that song! I guess it was not played the night before at another local gig. I'm ready to go see them again. I believe they are staying in the area another couple shows here.

ROCK ON, Cheryl -- Thanks for posting. Even the video gives me chills. I like them 'cause they tend to JAM. Great musicians. Mas Y Mas!! They're playing WAY up in the mitten (my state)... about 5 hours away. Don't know if I'll be able to do that one, but you've got me thinking about it.
