Newer. Went down very well with the crowd though. Was I'm On The Lamb....the Lamb or just Red&TheBlack?? The Lamb... plus LDOM and COF were apparently out of character in that they played the "newer versions"...

COF was the version we're familiar with but Lamb was the album version, unless I'm losing my marbles. Was very cool to hear that and Screams (excellent), Foot, Workshop and Redeemed for first time live - I think, will have to check your giglopaedia!

The wedge monitors were just there, we didn't use them.

I'm really looking forward to finding posts about the next few European tour dates. I was stunned to find Queensryche in some of the tour dates on BOC's site, because I saw them about a month ago. I think you guys will really like Todd La Torre, despite Geoff Tate not being there. Vocally, Todd is a great replacement, and he and everyone else was super friendly when I met them back in 2015.

My posts will run behind, I can't update the thread in real time. The London show was highlighted for me by meeting and watching Arthur Brown as in "The Crazy World Of." Nice guy, 75 yrs old now. I saw him at the NY Fillmore in 1969, when his song "Fire" was a big hit. His presentation is theatrical with lots of costume changes. His band is great and the show was really entertaining. He's better today than he was then. Great crowd at O2, the first album went down well I thought. It was a very long day and I felt a bit distracted as a result. Anyway, it gets crazier.

Your not on the FB scene so good to see what your side is doing.

Hellfest. Hellfest was hellish, as the temperature was 92ยบ F. Hot dusty and dirty, it was like Thunderdome. But the crowds were great, probably more concentrated BOC fans than last time, they went berserk, and for the first time in memory, we had the whole crowd clapping along to DFTR. Woody at the sound desk caught a clip of it. HellFReap.mov (454.18 KB)

Woody at the sound desk caught a clip of it. "Clip" being the operative word!! Woody needs a bigger memory card!! I'd need to see another few seconds before I can work out whether I think that's great or strange...

Ralph, it was weird, but the crowd had great timing, much better than people with cowbells.

Awesome-I bought that record(on Atlantic I think) and played the heck out of it.With Carl Palmer on Mad Drums.
