Ralph, it was weird, but the crowd had great timing, much better than people with cowbells. Great view, great sound, great audience, VIVE LA FRANCE ! (ok, wasn't there, but hey, French Brigade forever !) Yup great all around-Sandy P would have loved the audience hand claps

I'm back home in Ireland after a mad week of travelling to London,Switzerland,Germany and then Holland to catch my beloved BOC. Have really enjoyed myself the crowds have been very enthusiastic and friendly and the band have been on fire-the weather has been unreal so hot-I don't know how they played in Cologne it was like being in a sauna.First leg over now so bag packed washing done quick kiss for the wife and a hi to my 2 daughters and back out for early flight to mainland UK in morning for part 2 of BOC in Europe 2017 this will be shows 110-114 for me if it is anything like the last week we are in for a treat can't wait

Glasgow, good mates, a few ales and BOC....life doesn't get much better than that. Let's hope they have something special up their sleeve for the last UK show. More importantly, let's hope I don't get that dreaded call from the hospital....lol

No pics from Switzerland, but I love that club, the Z7. They do a great job there making a band's stay and performance comfortable. First show with Queensryke. On to Cologne, driving ourselves because our bus A/C not working. Heat is brutal. Club is hot as already noted by Tom and others. My clothes were soaked through. Hotel had no a/c either, but they did have a table fan, which ran all night. On to Utrecht NL, and a modern hotel with conveniences such as air conditioning. Also, the heat broke finally and we had some moderate temperatures again. The show was in a building constructed by the city, and the stage and dressing rooms and load in were all different floors and areas of a huge complex. Someone with a sense of humor put this sign on the wall at the load in. This was the last show with Queensryke and we enjoyed working with them, and had a great time. Rather than ban smoking tobacco, the hall had several of these booths where smokers could smoke without fouling the surrounding air. Richie demonstrates.

The only problem with that is that the doors don't seem to meet at the bottom... Having said that, I could do with one of those for my tomatoes...

That performance complex was City run. Those booths probably cost taxpayers $15-20k each. There was one on every floor backstage. There is no vent to the outside, the smoke is dealt with inside the booth, with machinery in the enclosure. Not 100% effective, it still smelled like cigarettes around it.
